Compare Hot and Cold Laminators

Laminators Specialties is proud to introduce an additional version of our ValueLam 4500 Hot/Cold laminator.

The new machine will be called the ValueLam 4500HC-4 (for 4 rollers). We’ll be keeping in our line the original ValueLam 4500HC, which is a two roller machine. The ValueLam 4500HC-4 , as well as having the additional set of pull rollers, will also have additional in-line slitters and forced air cooling fans for faster throughput of laminated prints.

So, how does your customer choose between the ValueLam versions?

If the customer’s main application is for mounting onto foam core, the 2 roller ValueLam would be the better choice. If the main need is encapsulation of prints while still having the capability of doing some mounting, the 4 roller version is the go-to machine. Each machine has all the features that have made the ValueLam popular with print finishers: ½” mounting capability, PSA rewind, an additional rewind for the automatic roll up of laminated prints and a foot pedal for hands-free starting and stopping of the machine.
